| DUAL ELECTRONICS ANNOUNCES ITS NEW AXXERA SERIES -- DUAL’S Axxera Branded Mobile Audio Products Are Designed With 12V Specialists And Independent Retailers in Mind -- HEATHROW, Fla. (Jan. 6, 2011) – Following their October announcement of strengthened commitment to the 12V industry, Dual Electronics unveils the first models from their new Axxera-branded line of products designed specifically with 12V specialists and independent retailers in mind. “During the Dual-sponsored roundtable discussion at MERA, dealers reaffirmed their need for us to provide them with richly featured products that can generate excitement at the right price points,” said Jim Braun, President and CEO of Dual Electronics. “We took their request and our commitment to this market seriously, and we are pleased to announce that early this year we will start shipping the first models from our new Axxera line,“ added Braun. “The design, feature sets and overall complexity of the Axxera-branded products make them ideal for independent dealers and specialists offering professional installation,” said Jamie Walt, Vice President of Sales, who also heads up the sales organization dedicated to the 12V market. The first Axxera-branded models include Multi-Format 1.0 and 2.0 DIN CD Receivers and Speakers. Some of the features found in the Axxera-branded receivers include full-graphic LCD, RGB feature allowing for custom color selection for the entire front panel, two USB inputs and built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology with support for HFP, A2DP, AVRCP and PBAP profiles for hands-free calling, audio streaming, music control and phone book access from the receiver’s front panel. The first models range from $129 to $249 MSRP and later this year the Axxera line will include products with even more advanced technologies and higher price points.
